I bid fond adieu to my sealed box of ubiquitous fear,
melting through burnished walls of epiphany,
prescient concerns, mirror ageing pyrite brick roads
charting the course to my hallowed Bohemia.
...
Born into the confines of parochial subjugation,
beneath the glare of the redundant red brick edifice,
the black and white battle of black and white,
watched by apple-cheeked clergy and the ubiquitous cross,
...
If I could harness the colours of the wind,
and lay them at your tired, weary feet,
tied in bouquets of radiant bloom,
could you embrace the beauty of your life.
...
Five hundred miles to kneel in bitter November snow,
silence pierced abruptly, by magpie's chattering screech,
naked oak fingers rattling a chorus of disapproval,

Bohemian Pilgrimage
I bid fond adieu to my sealed box of ubiquitous fear,
melting through burnished walls of epiphany,
prescient concerns, mirror ageing pyrite brick roads
charting the course to my hallowed Bohemia.
Past bearded flotsam,
derelict, in cardboard tenements,
pinned with the sanguine ribbons
marking their obedient service,
Through subterranean ghettoes
walled with the Swastika spat in ignorance,
from the tormented aerosol wands
of the eternally feral unreached,
Drinking falling tears, from plastic clad towers,
where innocence burned in voyeuristic Hell,
and erudite sophistry knowingly castigates
brothers who sought to douse the flames,
Under decaying bridges, spanning social schisms,
feathered with pompous, pigeon chested bigots,
fragmenting deliberately, into contrived digitised streams,
fervently policed by misinformed, mainstream militia,
Resplendent Minarets nestling amongst Victorian decay,
indigenous ego states, in accelerating transition,
re-booted November cenotaphs, needling the mute,
in my abandonment of this desolate bedrock,
Green and grey horizons re-emerging,
where recollection defers to new hope,
this parish of congruent brethren,
where all, is all one … to inspire.
