Eager to lose
'it'

(my family eager
...

She leans against
the window

to cool herself
...

Kisses
her
lips
...

I’m Liverpool me!

Cut me & I’ll bleed
Beatles & Liverpool.
...

Everything seems
two sizes
too small for you.
...

She burns
her old boyfriends

watches
...

“What you thinking Hon? ”

“Oh, nothing really! ”
...

Damn this tong!

I wanted the perfection
of no knicker line
...

I whip
off my bikini top

and your eyes
...

I touch your hand and
...am made happy.

As if my sorrow
...

I am
supposed to be

forgetting you &
...

Baby sleeping now
at her breast

self satisfied grin
...

Sunset
over the South China Sea

lands that I thought
...

I can feel
his gaze

alight
...

Despite
ourselves

love allows
...

Sea...sky
fit in your eye.

I watch you
...

So much love

I’m
...

You could never decide
whether

I was a good girl
...

You kiss my hair
& my hair is happy.

You kiss my skin
...

The Best Poem Of Dee Wright

(()) All The Fun Of The Fair

Eager to lose
'it'

(my family eager
to preserve
'it')

this
'precious'
virginity

as
if
'it'
were

their possession
(not mine)

as if
'I'
had nothing

to do
with
'it! '

Never seeing me
as I saw myself

the soverign
of my body

oozing with pubesent
lust and sex and yes

the day the fun
fair came
to town

I became
a bottled blonde

and flew free
from shackles
of their wishes

lost in your kisses

as the merry-
-go - round
-spun - 'round

scattering my laughter
in all directions

my virginity
melting like

candyfloss
in the mouth

as your vividily
painted purple porpoise

chased my luridly
scarlet painted dragon

me enjoying
me enjoying you enjoying me

in total abandon
all caution

thrown to

the wind...in my hair

all the fun
of fair.
