They are Ivy League and his is an intrigue
They drive swanky cars and he treads the tar
They live a dream and he peddles sunscreen

She was looking for peace, solace and bliss in silence,
But silence was scaring, silence was devouring,
Silence was dark, silence was cold,
Suddenly she was afraid of the silence.

Look! Its time to fly again,
See! The storm is dying down,
Watch! The sky, it's a new dawn.
Emerge! From the dream it's been long since you have flown,
...

Its long over you know it, so do I,
but your eyes don't comply.
Mind asks me after-all why?
Hearts say, we only know how to fly.

If he can, then of-course you can,
many more summers have scorched him, yet he can.
His legs are feeble, still he can,
there's nobody to stand for him, yet he can.
...

He tried to hold dreams with his tiny hands,
but, like the sands of time, they slid away.
He wanted to play with dreams as he did with toys from toy-land,
but, like the ice-cream they melted away.
...

They ask me ‘Are you afraid to die? '
I say ‘No but if you mean now, then I don't want to die'.
God sent me down but forgot to tell me why,
So, first I need find out that why.
