Yes! You Can Poem by Dhiman Manji

Yes! You Can

Rating: 4.5

If he can, then of-course you can,
many more summers have scorched him, yet he can.
His legs are feeble, still he can,
there's nobody to stand for him, yet he can.
His eyes are bleak but he can,
he has no hope left, yet he can.
So my friend get up and run because you can,
I can, yes! We all can.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
First draft of this poem was written by me on back of a bus ticket on a bus ride and inspiration was a very old, feeble man who boarded the bus with a huge sack of rice on his shoulder. The gentleman politely refused help from other and moved around his stuff on his own.

A nice motivational poem. Reminds me of Obama's campaign slogan before his first term as President of US. FAITH KEEPS THOSE THAT KEEP THE FAITH - Mother Teresa. A lovely poem indeed. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
