Upon new oil canvas he's ready to begin covering the barren and bleak
For slowly an image of a miracle begins to take place, a united stand
Finesse and steady strokes until a story unfolds, equally strong and meek

Oh precious Mother of the Most Sacred Heart
Hear my tearful cries and hopeful prayer
Just tell me where to begin or start
To stop these unwanted feelings of despair

Wind whistles on the prairie
Pulling, tugging on wide spread
Grass, wild and free
What secrets does the zephyr

I close my eyes to see
The world far away
My place on earth
Is anywhere my heart is

Throw it at me, the pearls of wisdom
I hope they are caught by me before they are cast to swine
I bear my cross at times bitterly
Yet pray that with Divine Mercy and forgiveness
