When the rain drips its first dropp on me!
When at dawn, sun peeps out to wish me,
When wind blows gently on me!

Miss you papa, every moment my tears glide;
Down my cheeks, like a child coasting a slide!
And I know it’s your soothing voice; nice,
Deep within me that restores back, my poise!

One and only ship, you can sail on and on,
Till the last breath in your life’s ocean.
No matter how short the first voyage was,
It’s the depth not its length that counts!

Walking down my memory lane,
Paused a while at my age nine.
To see myself play, on a day, fine;
Races, with class-mates, of mine!

A note of love; a bed of red roses,
