so much jewelry she loved to collect.
It made her feel like an elegant lady.
Everyone knew her as 'flashy Sadie.'

Eyes wide open
Still, some don't see.
Stares unfocused
Fixated, not free.

Someday in the future
we'll come upon the one
that knows everything we've ever been
and everything we've done.

Imperial tyrants from whence you come
to the land of American soil,
You pierce the hearts of all of us
that labor hard and toil.

I'm crazy in love
so what can I do?
There is no getting over you.

Sometime in your life you'll know love has found you.
You won't know quite what to do.
You'll wander around with your head in the clouds
and you'll wonder if it can be true?
