But the wind I love... when it blows... blows fair...
This wind... when it blows... blows from... ELSEWHERE! Can you see its graceful fingers... playing in your hair?

Walking with you in the evening
Along the bowered lane
Walking alone... together
In the slowly, falling rain.

When the sun in the morning comes up in the West...
and sinks slowly in the East,
The Rainbow's hues become so dim...
its brilliant colors cease.

A-whirlin', a-twirlin' . . . little leaves caper an' prance—
A-comin' together . . . for an Autumn Square Dance. A-dancin', a-driftin' . . . with laughter an' glee—
Careless an' reckless . . . th' wind blows 'em free . . .
to soar o'er th' meadow . . . th' pasture an' lea
...

Soft, warm, gentle candle-glow... flame a-curl in th' breeze,
a-givin' light through th' fallin' snow, amongst th' deadened leaves.
A-shinin' as bright an' as much as it might-
a-lightin' a lovely an' snowy night.

Love passed between us... oh, so divine
