Slavery

We never knew slavery was around the corner,
until it farted
and its wickedness polluted the air.

"Little girls sex-trafficked,
Boys slave in sweat shops."
taken away from their borders,
tricked and kidnapped.

Africans, we are the masters of our slavery,
we abuse ourselves,
we bask in the euphoria of faith in the fake system of government.
When will the masses lives matter to the elite?
Will black live ever matter?

Hey Slavery!
Do you understand when i say, "Get off our land"?
we cherish our freedom,
freedom indeed.
No more slavery in this land,
Freedom! Freedom! Freedom!

Emmanuel Alabi Quotes

Of a truth, Religion is slavery.

i know the ones i love but i don't know who truly loves me. this fact makes me realize that there's a fault in our creation. the gods are to be blamed.

Religion turned us to pretenders.

Because it's conventional doesn't make it right or wrong. Someone started it. Someone can change it. Someone can make it better. Reunion doesn't have to be a 10years thing. Poetry doesn't have to follow the rules of dem Shakespeare, Wilde. Rap doesn't have to be a must-like-this this or must-like-that. The world evolves. Times change. People change. Methods too can change. There are exceptions tho.
