In front of me stood
A dirty mirror that
Reflected a person who
Is plain yet vivid

In my hand I held
A plain notebook that was
Drawn on by a pencil with
My right hand

Stupid was I to
Not realize that my failure to
Sketch myself was because
I could not picture myself

Even with a mirror it is
Difficult to encrypt my image
Because-from the beginning-
I cannot even write about myself
