I Wish They Knew

I WISH THEY KNEW
I wish they knew how it feels,
When you can't sleep at night
thinking how things should have and might have been,
Every single regrets of your life teasing and mocking you in your mind,
Then you curl your body to sleep,
The warm night suddenly feels icy cold.

I wish they knew how it feels,
When you tried your best but your best is everyone's worst,
It makes your breath stuck while you're inhaling,
And everything you swallow bitter,
The energy is all sucked up and all you feel is tired.

I wish they knew how it feels,
When you're in a crowd but all you hear is silence,
It's like you're in a vacuum place with some trespassers,
and your sighs are the only music to your ears,
The busy world suddenly freeze and it feels empty.

I wish they know how it feels,
When your tears are crying to pour,
But you're too tired to let it go,
Then you bottled it up inside,
Hoping that glass bottled won't break,
The young heart turned heavy and cold.

I wish they knew how it feels,
When you want to stay but you're not welcomed,
When you fight for someone but they gave up on you,
Wondering why and what makes things changed?
It's hopeless,
And you decided to turn your bright days into a pitch-black dark.

I wish they knew.
