Deciphering The Hieroglyphs Of Days

How can I decipher
The meaningless
Hieroglyphs of days
While playing a game
Of solitaire with my
Mute royal shadow?
I am pining for nothing
Less than the oasis
Of your lifesaving
Presence, beloved,
And miss your kisses,
Embraces and balmy
Words of endearment.
I must content myself
By unwrapping the dry,
Mummified memory
Of our ancient love
Hermetically-sealed
And entombed in
My heart's sarcophagus.
I am lost in the vast
Desert of your absence.
