A Tear In The Sea

I hear but silence,
I see but nothingness,
I open my eyes,
As the world reveals.


A sea of lost dreams
Waits to be sank.
A sky of grey hopes
Waits to be crashed.

Waves of revelations
Rend the cold air,
But only temptations
Brought us to despair.


Beside me is infinity,
Above me – eternity,
And I, a grain of sand
Vanished away in the dark.
