An open door,
A welcome smile,
A feeling that grows.

I often try to figure out why God gave us this life,
When it's only full of sorrow, trouble and strife.
We keep seeing mirages, trying to fulfil empty dreams,
But are in for a shock, coz things are not as simple as they seem.
...

It seems ages since we met,
And then became good friends,
But our friendship will only grow with time,
I know it can never end.
...

In a world where time is scarce
And everything is transient
It feels special to have a bond so pure
Which I know will never break or end
...

What are friends? They're everlasting treasures,
Who share your dreams, your sorrows and pleasures.
They stand by your side in times of trouble
And join in your happiness to make it double.
