In a world where time is scarce
And everything is transient
It feels special to have a bond so pure
Which I know will never break or end.
We may not have as much time for each other
As we used to in the good old days
But we know the warmth is still the same
From each other we're just a phone call away.
So here's to our amazing friendship
That has given us so many memories to cherish.
Which I hope we can recollect
Even when we are toothless and about to perish!
