looking for a shimmer of hope through the fog
I wanted a better life... much better than now
that maybe I could be someone somehow

what do you call an understanding of sorts?
where you know what you do and with who?
when you know its too soon but now you have it?
when you try not to feel yet still do?
...

think of love as a passage through time

... where you can be there for the past
nodding through all his pain
...

shaking the head vigoriously
sweeping it for painful memories
gathering thoughts and recollection
throwing away the remains of yesterday
...

to each his own where you own everything
with noone to share and noone to blame
the art of loneliness perfected by the day
in a world that you privately stay
