Which was standing all forlorn;
Love's young dreamers came along,
And a happy home re-born.

God gave us memory lane;
Where life is as it should be,
And shall on heavenly plane.

Why we 'poets' take up the pen;
To put the world behind us,
Or inspiration now and then.
