Helen Bahena Poems

When I look into your eyes all I see is sunshine,
then I look into my heart to see what's inside.
Inside is how the world doesn't compare,
the reason for this is because I care.
...

When my heart was broken i felt no relief,
til I met this man that seemed so out of the belief.
He held himself well,
even had a great smell.

Sharing What's Inside

When I look into your eyes all I see is sunshine,
then I look into my heart to see what's inside.
Inside is how the world doesn't compare,
the reason for this is because I care.
That care, that i care is for you to know that I'm there,
to know that life is a little fair,
For love should never be spared.
My heart feels complete,
because you make me feel unique,
for when girls are around I don't have to compete.
From the touch of your hand, to the tone of your voice, my heart beats faster,
But what's more to explore is this little disaster.
This little disaster is you and me as a complete,
But all I can say is it makes us unique.
These rushing feelings are like no other,
you can't explain them,
it's not a bother for one another.
I still remember the day we met, I wasn't shy,
the special part, it's not a lie.
In the back of my mind,
I was a little blind,
for not to see an awesome guy.
It's weird that when I found these feelings,
there were obstacles in between me.
For all these things were not a fuss,
because I knew you were a must.
We talked all night,
and all we had was a might.
But when we felt these little sparks,
that was the sign we left our marks,
On one another,
for our love transfered to each other.
We then wanted to stay together,
but now we wish that it's forever.
For me and you are jewels
for one another,
because we are no fools for any other.
For it's me sharing what's inside,
please just do not let it die.
For yes we are in our youth,
But I love you,
And that's the truth.
