It lumbered forth with giants force,
That great momentous thing
To take it back, what it had lacked
And slowly spread its wing.

dark and night surrounding hold me near vast sky.
my heart pounds loudly, starlight on white flesh.
the huge emptiness, close as skin.

It shone out, black and dark as night. Dark but not bad.
It shone out, Strong and hard as stone. Strong but not unkind.
It shone, glistening in the dew, sharp. Sharp but gentle.
Dark and light, strong and wise, keen and gentle.
