A dulcet adieu to daylight.
The maya birds too
End their repertoire

Like to a leaf that is fallen and withered
Tossed by the tempest from pole unto pole;
Thus roams the pilgrim abroad without purpose,
Roams without love, without country or soul.

'Where did I come from? ' the child asked,
'Heaven, ' was the mother's answer;
'Did Father and you come from heaven, too? '
'Yes, my little one, we all came from there.'

Fear less, breathe more;
Talk less, say more;

We are
Leaves on Life's tree,
And Death is the wind that shakes
The branches gently till its leaves
