The Dog

The dog, I am, the one you'll never see
Tis because, this is the last I'll leave
The owners I had, who were great to me, were quickly saddened, when I ate through a bag of food, that was not for me
It was a spanking and a car ride west that was next to be
Now here I am, on the floor, some shot given to me
Heaven tis a nice place, for there is no more beatings for me
But all I want, one more time, is to be alive, happy, and free.
