How Ii Will Love You

And when I love you,
I’ll not just love you for all time into eternity.
I won’t just give you my heart, my soul,
I won’t just embrace you as my salvation.


For when I love you,
I’ll love you in all ways and for always,
I’ll love your faults, strengths and weaknesses.

I’ll love you even if you stop loving me,
For love knows no quid pro quo.
And should that day of death come,
I will carry on and not fall into a puddle of misery-
I will carry on because you gave me enough of everything I need.
