Hope

Hope

Hope is a dove,
Flying high and flying free
Searching the skies and
The Earth below
Looking for you and me

Hope is a teacher,
Guiding and providing
For when you are at the bottom,
And the shore is far away,
Hope is the one that reaches
And teaches you the way.

Hope is a truth
Staying constant and strong
For when the storm's power hits,
And the sand around us shifts
Hope is the one that reaches
And teaches you the way

Hope cannot be bought and
Cannot often be understood.
When we are lost and all things
Appear to stand in our way
