I feel so different than everything around me.
So out of place as if I don't belong
Trapped inside my mind, my prison the bars made of rage
How can I escape this torture without tearing out this page

I feel you so near, what can be so close
Such a dismal image, my dreary ghost
My touch filters through you exposing what you are not
How have I come to be here? what have I lost?
...

A deep frayed memory tearing at the seams
We look at life through mirrors our vision never as it seems
How we've become so lost, our bodies drained
What we thought we had found was never real
...

Can we dream of love?
Can we dream of a place far away
Where memories are lived forever and a day
Where happiness remains when all else is gone

My White Picket Fence

I feel so different than everything around me.
So out of place as if I don't belong
Trapped inside my mind, my prison the bars made of rage
How can I escape this torture without tearing out this page
To end this chapter, to end it all
How can I conclude this book without losing my soul
The words they change, the title remains the same
A martyr for no difference, a hero with no name
So lead me to my casket, my white picket fence
& as all things live in remembrance I shall only forget
What it was to live, the pain we feel to die
Your shattered embrace..
My lonely cry..
