I had a lollipop-flavoured dream
A dream of popsicles and psychedelic
swirls of colour painting the skyline.
Of cotton candy declarations

Tis with the shadowed lights I run,
Our hearts beating a rhythm
that resonates through out the perpetual
continuity.

There's something divine about being by yourself.
When the rest of the world shrinks to a fingernail of existence,
and you're left with your thoughts.
And the act of living and being alive is stripped down
...

With sandalwood undertone,
Dried rose and juniper leaves,
they linger on, wafting, whispering,
The scent of days long gone.
