Kairi Hall Poems

Kairi Hall Biography

Kairi Hall is a fourteen year-old poet just trying to find her way in life. Going by the name The Poetic Human she writes poems simply about people from her surroundings; what she experiences. She loves reading and writing poetry and although she is a newer poet, she hopes to touch (not literally) the hearts of her readers. Sorry for typo's. Like I said. Fourteen year-old girl typing in third person.. quite confusing.: 3 -The poetic Human ^w^)

The Shadow

She slunk through the shadows
Not noticed by much
Just the rats in the dumpsters
Her heart turned to a slush
She snuck through the alleys
Careful not to make a sound
Afraid the monsters would come back to laugh
Push her face to the ground
So she sunk into the darkness
Relying only on fear
For no hope was left for her
They had taken all she held dear
