Black Is

Black is the color of a frying pan,
It's the color society uses to label God's man.

Black is a rich color, made from red, yellow and blue,
It's the color the world uses to describe me and you.

Our ancestors fought and died to change this shame,
Now it's our turn to fight this worlds game
Just as Harriet Tubman freed slaves through the underground,
That was the beginning in turning blacks status around.

Rosa Parks sat on the front of a bus,
Continuing to fight for our rights is a must.
