The poem is about a relationship that broke down because of my selfish behaviour.
It's slightly autobiographical.
As the first line shows, I was very 'emotional' while writing this piece, so it kinda sucks lol.

An Attempt At A Shakesperian Sonnet About Existiential Angst;

I feel as though my heart is being eaten by SNAKES
With every breath another stab the fang TAKES
When you promise yourself the blood shan't RUN
You ask yourself, 'what's to live for, where's the FUN?
What is the point in this meaningless life? '
She turns inwards, onto me, and asks, with bated breath,

'Can you... can you.. take this KNIFE? I have nothing LEFT.'

And in blood wash away the pain
until this feeling revisits us again.
