I must return to Masewani's music and rhythm to where egrets nest in the breezes of dusk among dancing reeds in colorful marshlands I must go home, to the smell of coffee in bloom lighting up senses at the caress of morning I must escape the flattery of your city winery the abandon of thawed vigor where spirits gnaw the joints I must seek a fissure of escape and depart with the rumors of things that will drag me through dreams, till I arrive. I must depart with the opening of day to find solace in the morning of roosters from window opening to behold a burning face resurrecting from behind two easterly hills with a glowing smile to lighten the burdens of night to usher life back to a death of slumber in awakening
