I’m on the edge and looking down,
Must be a hundred feet to the ground.
For if I fall, the way is steep,
Death becomes me, from beneath.

Oh rise beyond the mountain, you beautiful ball of fire.
Light beams on my face, warming me with desire.
Let me feel the energy that lives within the light,
Heal me, feel me, yield me and fill me with delight.

A shell you’ll see, it’s all that’s left
From the body you’ve held, fed and kept.
Creatures of darkness, survival is their plight
Hunting unsuspecting souls, consuming all the life.

It was in my room, late at night
When I awoke, so cold with fright.
I reached to turn the light switch on,
Saw faint lights and heard whispered song.

I find myself falling,
spiraling down and down.
I hear whispering winds,
echoed cries, all around.

Just close your eyes
and take a deep breath.
Fill your heart with love
and put it to the test.

Sitting in the dark, the night before last,
a falling star was shooting past
Then I noticed there were more,
one, then two, then three, now four.

Amongst the stars within the night,
the flery planets that flicker bright.
On a dark and quiet shore,
I stare and stare til they glare no more.
