Krista Mason Poems

I feel so alone.
Who is going to miss me when I'm gone?
My mind is my only friend, and my imagination, my only freedom.
...

Shedding a tear for the sapphire wind
crying and wailing because of his sin.

Holding her closely in the deepest darkest hole
...

Our beloved Sapphire,
You left us before we met you, so small, so fragile.
We held you for a moment or two, but we long for more.

The Art Of Decay

I feel so alone.
Who is going to miss me when I'm gone?
My mind is my only friend, and my imagination, my only freedom.

There was once a time when things weren't so.
I knew trust, I knew love.

There was happiness, there were smiles.
Once there were hugs, once there were kisses.
There were priceless laughs, and tears of joy.

But alas, once is now no more.
Everything that has not died, is dying yet.
Every hope, every wish, every dream, every prayer.

I feel so alone.
Who is going to miss me when I'm gone?
My mind is my only friend, and my imagination, my only freedom.

Decay sets in. Every smile, every hug and kiss.
Every joyful tear, now all only in my mind, my memory.

I no longer see the brightness of the sun, nor the beauty of the moon.
Every bright star shine now only in the books.
The waves of the oceans are no longer blue, but black.

Looking back and seeing how much I've changed.
How things in my life may sometimes be the opposite and destroy me.

I feel so alone.
Who is going to miss me when I'm gone?
My mind is my only friend, and my imagination, my only freedom.
