My Diamond Sapphire Poem by Krista Mason

My Diamond Sapphire

Our beloved Sapphire,
You left us before we met you, so small, so fragile.
We held you for a moment or two, but we long for more.

Our precious Gem,
You resembled you father, who loved you so.
The dreams we shared, the hopes we dared, now gone with your embrace.

Our sweet little Diamond,
You look down on us as we live on, grieving for you, but never giving up for you.

I know as I write this that you are happy, smiling down at us.
Waiting for the day when we'll be together again.

I tell you now,
We will live for you, we will go on, and we will love for you.
You will never be forgotten, never lost, always here with us.

Daddy and I love you so much, our little Diamond Sapphire.
You will Forever shine on in our hearts.
Rest in Peace, live on in Heaven, our son.

Love Mommy, Always and Forever!
