The sun is high and hot in sky, With his reckless rays on earth, The ravishing storm huddles around, But you are always soft and sound. The camels pass with loads of date, With his master on his back, Tired but taming his own thirst, But you are always soft and sound. The confused cameleon crawls on sand, To find a meat for his own sake, The snakes and rats play for life, But you are always soft and sound. Once in a round comes the rain, With a solace and a smile, Even the sands drown in joy, But you are always soft and sound, The sun is like the sorrows in life, The storm is your own confused mind, The rain is all the joyful times, And all the rest are friends you met, In the desert of your own life, But are you always soft and sound?
