even though I wish the memories would fade away.

As we walk slowly down the dark streets laughing,
I start thinking of how good a friend she is.
I always enjoy every minuet I spend with her.
Every minuet I am not with her,

I know that she is not here…
I did not know when she left,
and I don’t know where she is…

I now stand in our favorite spot.
I can hear the echoes of her laughter
mixed with our favorite songs playing in the background.
I often find myself wondering around this place

she is there beside me.

and she walks with me.
