But I’m not ready to remember yet,
What we had, or what went on;
It just reminds me you’re gone.

There’s a lack of emotion
In my facial expression.

What do you do,
When the person you want doesn’t want you?
How do you heal,
And push from your mind everything you feel?

I long for your smile,
To feel your touch,
If only for a while,
I miss you so much.

Ahhh the sweet taste of rope,
How easy it would be,
To sling a noose,
And hang from a tree.
...

For in the dark, among the trees,
There lies a man upon the leaves.
He is not asleep, nor is he awake,
Yet he lies in wait for his lover’s sake.
...

You shout my name,
I turn to look.
There’s no one there,
I feel the despair.
...

Yesterday I died.
I don’t know how it happened,
I don’t know what I went wrong.
All I know is I’m gone.
...

I sit and stare out to sea,
It’s where I long to be.
Away from here, away from England.
...

I drink to lift these dark moods,
Yet all it does is makes things worse.
I can’t leave these lonely roads,
I feel as if I’m cursed.
