They walk, they talk, they spend the day
according to their light
they fight, they play, they reach great heights
according to their light

Through ages they have entertained
Crowds begging for a hearty laugh
To act as nimble fools ordained
Whom men of wheat considered chaff

I bought majestic orchids
To decorate my room
Aglow in darkest purples
With satin velvet blooms
...

He went beyond the boundaries
Of dark horizons bending
The blurry road soon vanishing
The stormy swell ascending

I saw a bridge meant to be crossed
The path to paradise
In shiny lacquered red it glowed
With ancient myths embossed
