Lisa Bennish Biography

I'm just a young adult struggling to find out who I really am and what I really want in life...I've been through a lot and I use that to add strength and feeling to the poems I write. I write so that others may find something they can relate to, and to show them that no matter what struggle you're going through, you have an inner strength in you that will get you through anything, and it's stronger than you think.)

Fallen Angel

Only pretty on the outside,
No one understands, no one can save her
Standing alone in a mirror,
I look into the eyes of a fallen angel
Her heart's a cold black stone,
She feels as if it's ceased beating
She's suffocating, barely breathing
Inside she's silently screaming
Her mouth makes not a sound
Beyond salvation, is this damnation?
Is there a hope, a prayer, left for her?
