Why I Act This Way
All I wanted was to talk to a friend,
But on u I simply couldn't depend.
I asked u if u were mad at me,
But all u said is 'I got places to be.'
I really was in extreme need of a hug,
But u made me feel lower then the dirt on a rug.
I stood in the rain at the dumpster and cried,
And thought not a soul would care if I died.
I went home, got a shower and went to my room,
Glum, cheerless and filled with gloom.
I cried and cried and cried some more,
Then I sat down with a plop on my floor.
I didn't know what to do so I prayed,
It seems like God's answer...
