Her beauty was second to none
like a butterfly she flitted by
as man with a net did chase
hoping to capture her heart.
...
She lived in the mountains wild and free
with her closest friends and family
she ate from the land, she reared her young,
life was bliss until man came along.
...
'What do you want to eat' he said
I saw the dark glint in his eyes
I knew whatever the choice I made
would be wrong and would cause a fight.

Governments shake bloodied hands
keeping the people under command
the more they protest the worse it gets
and then they call it civil unrest.

Gypsy eyes hypnotize
I drown in oceans sea
lured to forbidden places
my heart, my soul so weak.
...
Jealousy completely overwhelmed me
I drove love away in awe of my constant insecurity.
I loved too deeply, I clung too tight,

The queen, the bishops,
rooks, knights and pawns,
all protecting the king on the board
who protects the pawns?

I have a dream
of freedom, peace, equality,
where man will love his neighbor
sharing land
...
I breathe in your heavenly scent
water turns to wine
blossom falls at your feet
as the wind blows your heart to mine.

Sitting Bull stood his ground
he refused to sell his sacred land.
Respected by his people

holds countless memories
this band of gold

Rain falls down my window pane
reflecting tears of pain.
I pray for the sun to rise

Heart Of Ice.
Her beauty was second to none
like a butterfly she flitted by
as man with a net did chase
hoping to capture her heart.
How she teased
she bought men to their knees
her heart of ice
none could thaw.
She hid behind the tallest walls
none could tear them down
many tried but failed
her heart of stone, imprisoned, alone.
How she longed for love
for someone to love who she was
but barriers were high
she needed much more than lustful eyes.
No one took the time to know her
men showered her with gifts
trying to bribe her affections
hoping for a kiss.
One day her heart of stone did break
tears she cried from frozen eyes
her heart of ice dissolved
an overwhelming feeling suddenly took control.
She sat looking out to sea
her tears washed away with the tide
a man sat down at her side
he asked her why do you cry.
He took her hand in his
and wiped the tears from her eyes
his gentle touch, his concern,
reached to her soul, much to her surprise.
She looked at him and smiled
through bloodshot tear filled eyes
and realized he was blind
he was genuinely caring, genuinely kind.
She watched the sun slowly fade from sight
and made a wish on a star so bright
the moon smiled approval with a cheesy grin
and they sat holding hands 'till the tide came in.
