Rose Blood

Love is a Rosered Rose


the purest and most precious kind of love
is the intimate beauty one can behold in a single rose
and thus, celebrate all that is Good
in a world so dark, depressing and deep

my heart led me to a wondrous Garden
to be one with the Goodness that is,
that which can only be Good

my feet led me to a Rosebush
and my eyes were washed clean by its beauty,
my soul cleansed by its divine purity

my hand picked the fairest of all
and brought it closer for all my senses to take in
all it had to offer
