It was two weeks after the day she turned eighteen

The last curl in place
her hand shakes
she looks up at the reflecation
the girl in the mirror looks like hell
...

she hides from him,
He looks for her
She cries away the pain and sorrow
He has no idea what he does to her
...

Share with others
The gifts of which you have
Mothers, daughters, sisters and brothers
will gather around from everywhere
...

Through the pain and misery
I blindly follow the dim light
the shadows around me are calling
they beckon me back to the abyss
...

Love..
he promises her forever
her hopes lay in his hands
he holds her close
