Can Never Trust What It Seems

Where’s the love?
Where’s the care?
The things we once shared.
All my dreams are broken,
And for me I’m forgotten.

Happy sounds surrounded me,
I followed the sounds and fell for the trick.
Now there are darkness and sadness around me,
For I’ve fallen in to the pit.

Nothing's gonna change now,
nothing ever will.
For now sadness, it’s within me,
And forever I’ll stay in this pit.

Pit of darkness.
Pit of hell.
Everything you fear,
Happens here.

Nightmares come true,
And the pain is just too real.
Thinking how I’m such a fool
For falling for its trick.

Once it seemed like heaven but now it seems like hell.
The world once so beautiful, is now such a mess.
World has turned upside down.
Everything is not what it seems,
But what u just can’t believe.

Life of sorrow, pain and in vain.
Here I have to live and try to gain.
Wishing for a better life.
Chasing after my guiding light.
But sad to say I never caught up with
Never will for I’ve lost it.
The pain and cuts may never heal.
It may never be found.
Here I stay with my head on my knees,
Wishing that I never trusted the happy sounds,
Or what it seemed.
