There are people and out of these people
The people that are like shadows
They shake hands with their own masks
Somewhere below the twilight of the facial lines

You and I with the song of stone the human breath sung
We breathe the paintings among the galleries
In blind streets full of stairs behind the old door with the knocker
A heartbeat sung out among the pictures

'cos he left the ocean
'cos now he's got
he's got
another devotion
...

Surely some burns breathed out the heat
Sun turning wheels clocks spinning sand
Sand storm slides made of desert clouds
Ending up in a single moment standing still

growing wild through the mountain space
we should beware an earthquake of a word
