MOHAMMAD HAFIZ GANIE Poems

illuminate my nights
with your dreams
as long as I'm asleep
I'm awake in eternity
...

Jab tole jayenge lamhe
Waqt ke taraazoo mai
Aur jo boht dilkash hogai
Wo apke hisse mai aayengai

Laid lazy, just standing
Behind the scenes, dying Chinar
I fought so much of myself, wars i lost
My wounded skin, under my Pheran

Under my skin, the universe
I found myself, ending
To that universe, but still something
...

Some rains apart
Mists and thunder
Settle down, nothing
Calm like as never
...

In a blink and gone, words falling like chalk powder
The words stayed, only the one's spoken with silence

Birds flying from above somewhere, and my empty firmament
...

Shall I borrow some words, for i'm already late

...

To Beloved

illuminate my nights
with your dreams
as long as I'm asleep
I'm awake in eternity
futile are those eyes
enjoying this cover
what benefits the heaven
is your mirror
what shall i see next
when i just saw you
and me to my eyes
i lost, sense of comparison
