I am human, your brother, your sister
A mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, a friend

COVID-19 you indeed are not a friend, you have a heavy heart
No, not a friend, when you bring so much misery upon us
You kill grandparents and pretend to spare the young
How can they be spared when you take away their parents

Created In God's Image, Image Of Love And Compassion

Why do you do what you do?

I am human, your brother, your sister
A mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, a friend
I am created in God's image, image of love and compassion
I care enough to wish me well
Do I care enough for a mask to wear?
Love thy neighbor as thyself, the bible says

Humanity cries, cries to sit next to one another
Humanity cries, cries to embrace one another
Any time you do, COVID may be among you
Invisible COVID walks with you, walks among us
Will you wear a mask? To save me, your brother your sister
A mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, a friend?

How dare you ask me to wear a mask
A mask I will not wear to infringe on my liberties
I have my rights; I have freedom of expression
A mask I will not wear to infringe on my liberties
I am created in God's image, image of love and compassion
To love thy neighbor as thyself, the bible says

I am human, your brother, your sister
A mother, father, grandmother grandfather, a friend
Created in God's image, image of love and compassion
A mask I will not wear to infringe on my liberties
Save your life, I will not, brother, sister, mother, father grandmother, grandfather, a friend

I am human created in God's image, image of love and compassion
Humanity must consult God. God must we wear masks?
God created us in his image, image of love and compassion
I, I will wear a mask to save you my brother, sister, mother,
Grandfather, grandmother, my friend.

Such is God's image, image of love and compassion
To love thy neighbor as thyself

Namukolo Covic Quotes

Teachers were once just teachers. But having to homeschool our children as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic has certainly given us new found respect for teachers, what teachers do and their patience with the children we so love. But whose displeasures and tantrums we can only dream to effectively manage, one day perhaps, while hoping they will soon outgrow them for our sake.

The poem is Created in God's image, image of love and compassion, I will wear a mask to protect others from COVID-19 infection, and 'Love thy neighbor as thyself' to live up to.
