Why do you do what you do?

I am human, your brother, your sister
A mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, a friend
I am created in God's image, image of love and compassion
I care enough to wish me well
Do I care enough for a mask to wear?
Love thy neighbor as thyself, the bible says

Humanity cries, cries to sit next to one another
Humanity cries, cries to embrace one another
Any time you do, COVID may be among you
Invisible COVID walks with you, walks among us
Will you wear a mask? To save me, your brother your sister
A mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, a friend?

How dare you ask me to wear a mask
A mask I will not wear to infringe on my liberties
I have my rights; I have freedom of expression
A mask I will not wear to infringe on my liberties
