I say goodbye to you with a heavy heart.
Yet beyond all this heaviness lies hope -
hope that transcends into a knowing -

but that does not mean I am no longer here.
You may not be able to touch me,
but that does not mean I am gone forever.

Hope is that beautiful thing that keeps me going when I feel completely down
It is what keeps me afloat when I feel like i am about to drown
Hope becomes my faith when I wake up every morning with a heavy head
It turns into my light when all I see is darkness ahead.
