NGALAH GWEDENG Biography

NGALAH Julius GWEDENG aka PA NGALAH is a freelance teacher of English and Literature in English, based in Limbe Cameroon. HE has taught in several secondary and high schools and has written on a vast variety of issues. He studied in Government primary School Buea Town, G.S.S. Fundong, C.H.S Bambui and the University of Yaounde, where he joined the Yaounde University Poetry Club and was elected as the pioneer Financial Secretary. His literary efforts were crowned with the coveted GRAND PRIX DU PRESIDENT DE LA RE PUBLIQUE: CONCOURS LITTERAIRE in 2005.)

Prepare To Prepare

Be prepared to prepare a hope
For a future with a wide scope
To hold strongly to dream of life
Before you sleep with little strife.

Be prepared to prepare a face 5
To meet fairer faces in space
When knell is rung and dirge is sung
To the rhythm of life that’s strung.

Be prepared to prepare the state
You’d love to be met on that date 10
When with one clear call you retire
To find the sweet rest you desire.

Be prepared to prepare the gift
You will take to Him who will lift
You to the height of Light in Love 15
That once descended with the Dove.

Be prepared to prepare a heart
That sparks of purity from start
Of journey to where you repair
