Nicholas Moss Poems

It governs the universe
A forever flowing ichor
Set forth, never to reverse
Running headlong forevermore
...

The room seems familiar, but somehow different
It's as if I had awoken upside down
The bed seems larger
the world is in fish eye
...

You hurt
You injure
You harm
Your actions are of ill nature
...

The Best Poem Of Nicholas Moss

Our Endless Forward March

It governs the universe
A forever flowing ichor
Set forth, never to reverse
Running headlong forevermore

Dictating our actions
upon a disc with iron hands
An invisible abstraction
To which we submit to its demands

Day and night
Love and loss
Fortune and plight
Impulse and thought
Sickness and health
Serenity and strife
Poverty and wealth
Death and life

Within those two uneven iron hands
All of these things grow
Carried inevitably forward
By its irreversible flow

For it breaks and mends, plays with emotions
the most miraculous of all medicines
the most potent of all poisons
