When Peppa Pig is on the telly
Those girls won't eat, not even jelly.
With pale blank faces and vacant stares
Their daddy may as well not be there.
...
Oh goodness says the Princess, a busy buzzy bee.
A busy buzzy bee I see in front of me.
I don't want to see a busy buzzy bee
He might buzz in front of me and sting me on my knee.
...
Those dimples on my little girl
Are cute just like a kissing curl.
But when they are upon the cheek
I know of nothing to compete.
...
Peppa Pig
When Peppa Pig is on the telly
Those girls won't eat, not even jelly.
With pale blank faces and vacant stares
Their daddy may as well not be there.
He calls their names and asks for cuddles
But they would rather muddy puddles.
And George and Richard and Suzy and Danny
And Mr Potato and Grandpa and Granny.
But it's Peppa's name he hears in cries
And sees in wide and pleading eyes.
When Daddy switches off the telly
And tells his girls to eat their jelly.
